"...and etched into the twisted bark of the olive tree are the faces of the tortured souls trying to escape. It is the period of the 'dodecameron' and now the bark splits..."

Inspired by the Cypriot tales of the 'Kaligazeri', this movement piece explores the themes of repression through the exposure and transformational qualities of both body and material.

This production was performed as part of TURBULENCE, a festival of new work created by the 2009 MA Advanced Theatre Practice class at Central School of Speech and Drama.
